Jennifer Goss

Text Box: A back injury prodded Jennifer to start painting in high school. Her mother, an illustrator, suggested that she give it a try to pass the time as she recovered from surgery. Jennifer earned a degree in Art Education from the Maryland Institute College of Art and has studied with artists in America and South Africa where she and her family now live. When she received Christ into her life ,He changed her perspective on everything - including her art.
" The Lord had been dealing with me concerning the gifts He has blessed me with," she says. " I find myself wondering how to express the deep work that the Lord has done in my heart. I want to learn to speak from my heart with a visual language. I also want to know more about these gifts and what God would want me to do with them for His glory. "
"It matters what we represent because we represent Christ.  Our attitude as Christian Artists can not be as most artists, which tend to be self absorbed. I wanted my work to be more than a reflection of what's going on in my brain; anyone can do that. If we have been created in the image of God and He is the Creator, then we will naturally be creative.  My hope is to share this truth with others and to be a catalyst for people in the area of their creative giftings."
